so, usually when i record, i do as follows:
make a bunch [a bunch] of demos...
see what looks good on the sound files
hear what could be better...
make sure i have all the crucial parts down...
practice my vocals...
-this entails a bunch of head exercises for the high, which is mental...
anyways, so yeah, gonna record soon, checked the tone on the amp, sounds good...
wish i had a sonovox to make robotic noises...
paintings are paused.
came up with a few more concepts though...
sketched one out with pencil a few minutes ago...
there is an old story that sirius, a "planet's best friend", the dog star...
is on a strange elliptical orbit and it hovers near earth where it slows down for a while...
perhaps an old eclipse tale if nothing more....
anyways, this dark planet, planet x, if you will, supposedly helps out earth...
so, the concept i visualized is as follows...
earth a little off center, eclipsed by the pentagram and geometrical wonder planet sirius
with a sidewinder viper coming out of the sun...
out of sirius are purplish bolts of lightning, much like observable volcanic lightning...
there is a silver plate connecting earth with sirius...
the waning moon is above with what looks like luminescent eyes...
originally, there were drum sticks coming out of sirius
this is my first experiment with actually drawing on the canvas in detail before painting...
going to be a cool one...
