Music Off Day...

Decided to work on paintings all day... finished two; one of which has taken forever to finish... People usually think of like, huge paintings when someone mentions a painting, but whew, the little ones are super difficult... same with sculptures...but I do like the big paintings every once in a while...

Did a bunch of work on these paintings as well:

The brain-man: This idea was a concept I drew with my little 2nd Cousin back in like...2005 when we were going to a beach in England...I sort of made it into something completely different... His drawing was of a brain man with scissor hands and sponge-bob-like feet; my painting is way darker and deeper. Its like a business-man with a brain as a head holding a popsicle stick with copper wire wrapped around it in a sort of twilight zone like swampish and almost inter-lightbulbian surrounding...the final concept is that the brain dude is harnessing all this electricity from the sun, two trees, and shooting it out into pollution... The trees are pretty crazy as well in the sense that they are more like a bunch of trees mirrored into thick trees...there are rocks in front of him and his head is almost burning out into a sort of smoke halo... I had a BB Gun at the old Oakland house and shot three or four holes directly above the head...and looking at them now, pretty equidistant...anyways... coming along nicely...gonna touch up some yellows, add the electricity and its done.

The chupacabra: Based on some wine by an Arizona Vineyard [Caduceus Cellars] and a similar painting to the last days of Hendrix, but almost opposite... This is the one with the Jesus faces...so far three of them; and today I worked on the Satan-like face.... The first thing on this painting finished was the fire portion... Then I did a general outline with the things I wanted to include: a mirror, water, the sky, a crow and the sun... After those got polished up a bit, I added four wine bottles... Eventually, where there was a valley-like vibe above the water, a fetus appeared. So, now its looking like: a fire with Satan above and Jesus above that... move to the right a bit and there is the hint of the first crow connected to Satan and a white crow slightly positioned more fluidly over the darker one...above those guys is another little half Jesus-face in the clouds...under them, which I worked on today, is an old Native symbol for nightmares [mirror is near by], the owl. Now, since this was a Caduceus inspired painting, I decided to add a sort of staff, but instead of the logo, the snakes are moving off the staff into [see next portion]...mhm...anyways, I decided to make the owl[s] directly over the staff today as if they are reaching for the staff...move over more and there is the fetus head/ridge area...where the brain is, there is a mirror, inside of the mirror is going to be a reflection and dangling off the fetus head is a grapevine [snakes as in power] the ocean that the fire is contained in is seen in a rougher light through the mirror...then the final portion has the bottles, the waves washing ashore, a hint of a stiletto, and a big breasted wonderfully shaped woman behind all of that...but her face is not going to be exposed...then the Sun.... so, today, I added the wine inside the bottles, the owl, and the initial satan... The idea is going to be a slightly shifting theme with all of the elements that surrounded the wine that inspired the idea.  There are going to be blankets with plaid as well as a few more figures...I really like how its coming along.

The older metaphor for power one: This was in a bag with a bunch of other unfinished but basically done paintings; this one is more of an abstract comparison to nature and human nature... There is a cross in the back right corner behind a purple tree, and it gets freakier from then on...

The photoshop inspired one: loosely based on this older painting made in Guam turned into Photoshop Piece turned into future Warlock Album cover [see below]; I decided to include it in the "scary set." I finished another one of these the other day; but, this one is going to be the ugliest concepts put into the coolest of paintings... Worked on the teeth today....also turned to little horse looking thing on the bottom left into a bear attacking someone [silhouette-style] and added a screw as well as a stretched gas mask...

Mastering Guitar Trax...

So, decided to try and master each guitar track as I go this time... about halfway done with the album--guitar-wise...

Found a cool way to record a Bass with an Electric Guitar... You just simply plug in directly to the program with a very low drive/gain, so the guitar is barely audible, play it like a normal bass [lowest sounding strings only], then pitch shift it down 12 semitones... sounds better than most basses come out on recordings...

When I play live stuff, I'm just gonna be like "Yeah, the drummer and bass player are invisible..."...ha.

Anyways, was thinking: since sound is such a big thing in society [all the subwoofers...surround sound stuff...and car modifications], why aren't there any stereo mapping programs around? And, I don't mean like little mastering program features...talking about all out specifically designed for stereo placement programs...

Something like this would be cool: Chop up a hemispherical kind of graph for sound...place each track [guitar...vocal....etc.] in a different area and choose where they blend over...then have some little adjusting mechanism for balance...would be a money maker. I'd buy one...

Obviously been compressing and stereo-izing with a bunch of different pans... Noticed when listening thru my copy [not the YouTube one] of the Ultraviolet Landscape that the guitars would have been nicer if I'd focused more on them before mastering the whole thing; no biggie, just a demo...but, also noticed that it works wonders on clearing out my brain as well... anyhow, gonna finish up some acoustic trax tomorrow...

This one is sounding mighty heavier than my other stuff... Some of my newer songs are pretty heavy as well... Kinda cool...

Worked a tiny bit on a distant album too... the electronica/trip-hop/hip-hop one... and wow, the songs sound better upon revisitation... gonna layer the album around the brain... Thinking of a title like "Mechanisms" or "Deadlocked"...probably just gonna use deadlocked as a song title though... who cares, right?

Ha.

Anyways, been tracking the vessels stuff...guitar-wise...Thinking of mastering each individual guitar track in SoundForge before I do the vocals... I might go a little nuts and try some outdoor recording with my handy-vehicle adapter for some of the songs with screams... Its too bad there isn't a nearby small valley with rock walls... wouldn't mind if a rattlesnake was nearby either...

I wonder what a cd with snake hisses would do for herpetology... I would record one if I could...

Hm. My fingers are pretty sore from this morning and yesterday's guitar tracks...might switch over to some talkbox demo-ing....

Kinda happy about the western Canadian flooding, since lower-western Canada harbors a lot of sex slaves... Maybe the world is like "Hey, clean that shit up."

BBQs, time frames...spectacles...glasses...

Ugh. Finally ended up sleeping around 3 this morning....then I woke up at like 9:30 and was going to go to a UC Berkeley BBQ, but might not make it...still might go, who knows... According to some intelligent emails, I should sit out the charcoally deliciousness for something like a coconut-spinach smoothie and there is some weird star alignment happening around the time of the BBQ... Sometimes I just feel these things before I read about them and its like "ugh....motherfucker, I love burgers..." Might just drop by, eat and leave... Gonna start knocking out some ideas for a future album that the music is already started for...finished off the already demo'd worded songs off of Spectroscopic Parallax and it was really nice to hear them again...

People should see storms and weather patterns for what they are most metaphorically, on a spectroscopic globally seen level at least, similar to.  Schools of fish.  The big one in the Gulf of Mexico right now is clearly around overfished and fishing hot spots, and the Northeast ones are around similar areas...not to mention the whole Tornado thing is like uh...logically comparable to the amount of pelted and killed wildlife... Who says animals don't have a soul?

Its simply foolish to believe in things like "oh, when we die, we are outside of the Earth," seeing as it takes a lot of power to get through the atmosphere when we are alive... I think people this century will remember what the natives societies of the world knew...which is that we should not take things like meat/food/life as games or for granted, but respectfully enjoy them... Its strangely stupid and damaging to do otherwise...

Anyhow, thinking about a few other things as well: almost done with this most recent set of paintings, may add some ultraviolet-glowinthedark flakes to the frames of the ones I really like...have to get some equipment for the lighted frames...and may do some trippy kind of resin coated epoxy to make a sort of inverted painting on a few paintings... why? I've never seen them before.  Also thinking of stopping painting [after these unfinished ones are finished] and maybe displaying a couple of the sets since I have a bunch of cool ones... and most of all, I'm thinking about some mouth....watering....burgers...for lunch. Kinda hope I feel like going...if not, I'm gonna go with my instincts and cook my own...it would save gas money at least.

Anyways, tonight something different happened...nothing new really...

Was reading about it earlier on Google...James Gandolfini died. Weird right? Great actor. Anyways, I rarely watch T.V. for these reasons....but, I checked out the news and did some channel surfing...then I went down and was resting before a shower...which I will take after this blog...and boom, instant visitation... Its like a being of light just appears and you can see it from the peripheral in your head; usually the non-harmful spirits are brighter..especially if they have died recently...and I guessed this one was about 6'1''... then I heard a kind of little whisper like "psst...Jim" but I usually double check since there are some methheads around... so did my quick little energy re-configuration to find the source...this is ultimately visible by seeing a star placement chart and checking the Saturn... checked out Gandolfini's and sure enough, the Capricorn/Aquarius thing was in Saturn... so, Saturn in essence regulates the sort of spirit world...to an extent...anyways...

Apparently, he is worried about his daughter. He doesn't consider her obese, but he is worried she will have a heart attack if she doesn't stay healthy... He also will miss his son...gonna try and just send his spirit to them..but since I have a feeling they are in separate locations, might be difficult...

Bigger issues: the present.

1. Frederick Douglass Statue. Wonderful addition...gotta check it out in person; however, read the J.B. speech about it and it was terrible...the way the guy words things is like...someone who is trying not to seem racist or like a biggot, but can't even help it... They're calling obesity a possible disease..more like a brain damage...I feel the same about racists...and pretty much any kind of "holier than thou" nonsense. It was kind of offensive to read...and I have a lot of "white" blood in me, not just the white blood cells, which both "white" and "black" people have...but like Anglo-descent type. And, its just like a..."Well, the goddamn better driver sideswiped me when I was drifting over 3 feet into the other lane..." feeling is getting conveyed instead of an actual tribute. Yeah, so, that's just a weird tribute... I mean, dude could've at least been like "This is important to America because it shows how no matter what happens: [Frederick Douglass quote about American soil being the best to rebuild after disasters].... and instead, its just a half-hearted kind of "Yes, this BRONZE statue shouldn't have been gold." Bunch of sore losers sometimes....

2. The Abortion Bill. With all the sexual violence going on around the world, I think it is not only overly paranoid, but stupid [foolish] to deny any action on the issue. Roe vs. Wade is an older law...older laws often need challenging. Maybe the Supreme Court can handle this one in the future. Anyways, the reasons why it is foolish: too many people cannot AFFORD children right now, too many people feel no options and have children who end up living in poverty....and the biggest reason: The HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES of these people seemingly doesn't seem to feel that way. Its not about promoting sex...that falls in the education sector; its about safety...which is security...which is what all the right-wingers who claimed to be for suddenly just stood against.

There are all these "news analysts" shows, but nothing about solutions...

The whole Syria thing happening brings this to mind...

Russia had a great point about the rebels being "overly violent," yet at the same time, the root is clearly an extreme feeling of mistreatment... So, how would one from an outsider's view perceive the situation logically?    

If the government is not doing what its people feels best for the country, should there be intervention from the United Nations? If so, does it become like a Revolutionary War Scenario where like...foreign military generals are sent over to instruct people when to do whatever the proper course of action is? Is the government of Syria in any position to rework its practices to be more coherently in unison with the Rebels...

Another issue is the whole nuclear arms thing... so many issues being published, so little solutions being thought about... Its an annoyance of mine when people are just like "that's just the way things are." "Oh well." There is no hope in that viewpoint...no natural progression to equilibrium... no solution. It becomes like a boring math class. W.t.f.?

If anything, there is a communication barrier blocking some form of reorganization... Keep in mind, there is obvious corruption on both sides... There are numerous places where this kind of thing occurs, but instead of just brain dead reportings, where are the non-biased critical thoughts and solution orientated discussions? They're not there. Instead its more like: "This is Bobbity Bobbins, a former consultant to so and so from the 1970s....what do you think Mr. Bobbins?" Then there is a debate that leads to nowhere. There is enough of a media network to join into the governmental discussions that are reflected in the media world, but not necessarily enough solutions being presented as much as extravagant exploitations of certain details...

Why?

Its kind of like people misunderstanding the Tupac Shakur song, "changes." The hook is almost like...the cop-out to the solutions needed in society..."That's just the way it is..." but not necessarily the solution itself... The whole song is almost inspiring since it deals with so many issues in communities all over and while there are moments when it seems like things won't change for the better, there is enough of a motivation to make the changes necessary happen....like re-channeling all those bad thoughts into a cool song....

Car run-thrus and criminals...

Listened to Holographic Thoughts yesterday and today in a few drive arounds... Really like how it sounds... Wouldn't mind recording it in a real studio, however, I think I did pretty well...considering I used the demo mic [handheld] and the homemade CB Radio Mic...and no expensive programs...in fact, only free programs for the actual recording...

In contrast, I listened to Spectrum of Orbit and Ethereal Fire as well...and noticed a lot of clipping due to the Normalize option on Nero... Probably gonna wait til' I record it again with the Studio Condenser to make any changes...but its relieving to have the demos all done, layered out so I can hear/remember all the little things that make them all good...

Its almost like criminals getting caught. Why? Because, criminals aren't all caught at once usually...but when and if they are all eradicated from society, things are way more peaceful, coherent, natural, less stressful, and flowing. Universally error free, in motion, and non-conflicting.  Its interesting to myself to notice that since I've always had a natural detective-like spirit and tried to join the police force [didn't exactly get in], that I have seemingly solidified almost all of my brainwork into the artsy stuff [music/paintings] that I create in almost a detective like manner. I demo out a bunch of ideas, clean up what I think needs cleaning up and then put the whole thing back together...and the finished results are really interesting to me. Its not about getting signed or getting some badge of merit; Its about something else... Almost like a problem-solving approach that turns into a sort of professional craft of peacefulness and education...

Which is really weird to anyone else reading this...

However, it makes sense to me...and this typing is great finger exercise before recording the Vessels demo, respirator, Spectroscopic Parallax stuff and some Patriot stuff if I can...

Random Thoughts:

Was noticing a really cool thing about baths... Most of the time, it takes me very little time to relax in the bath, but the water is still hot, so I end up sort of stretching, doing weird little squat like muscle exercises with the sides of the tub being like a homemade work out machine....and the day after, the muscles are really toned as if the energy is completely refocused to the non relaxed muscles... its almost like using a bath to not only relieve and soreness/relax, but to manipulate your own blood flow...

Good to hear that human trafficking is being removed slowly but swiftly in the U.S. ....if only the whole world would be as similar, I think a new kind of more peaceful society would result. Rid all of the abusive drugs, and utopia is just a step away with some self-control....

Really good mix of wine: Cream Sherry, the Blackberry Merlot, a tiny bit of Marsala with some Mineral Water...

Scraped my elbow on my bedsheets last night...didn't know threads could be so violent...must've been the friction from moving my elbow across too fast...but there's not even a visible mark...

Might wait a little longer to revise the book I'm working on...because the theories in it keep proving correct...and the more proofs, the merrier...

Done with Holographic Thoughts...

Yum. After like 4 days of mastering and mixing old recordings with newer ones, the album finally sounds Holographic... with the content being hollow and graphic. Its about the media... so it fits...

Anyways, think I'm gonna stick with the original plan which was Holographic Thoughts as the first album instead of Spectrum... Probably gonna master the Spectrum songs that don't need any changes next....

For any Sound Forge users, the best way to punch out the ladder vocal effect is with the Compressor... it takes a few mixes, but eventually, the mixes and different compressions really make vocals sound like a staircase... pretty cool...

And, I found the perfect EQ after a while mixing WinAmp presets in with a few touch-ups...

Probably not gonna do much in the audio department for the rest of the day...

Gonna start thinking about clock and Vessels again... and check out some hotties...

Working on a few things so far today... Spectroscopic Parallax, respirator, and Holographic Thoughts...

Felt like writing something new for respirator since I plan to record it right after I'm done recording Vessels...and was thinking about the Spectroscopic Parallax cover while writing it...which is almost a parallel to mythology about sun gods/goddesses being seen as vessels of movement, only its more of an Earth version... "we're all in the same boat" kind of thing...

So, anyways, was reading Wikipedia...and the motherfuckers keep using the Spanish version of the Aztec customs... Its not hard to see why: The Spanish [keep in mind this is post-Inquisition where a bunch of crazy things happened] see the death penalty as "sacrifice" to the Sun god, whereas its more like a death penalty...with the dead going back to the Sun so its spirit won't stay around the community...

Its almost sad that no one has corrected this simple and brutal misinterpretation.... but, its because most of the Natives were murdered and the few kids that survived clearly didn't have a full knowledge about things...

Anyways, back to research...gonna be looking up how Oars are constructed pretty soon...

Also, flaying...the practice attributed to Native Americans where people are skinned from head to toe...another result of the Inquisition.... why do you think Plymouth Rock was vacated? "Leaks" or "Illegal nonsense..." / Anonymouth Porn

So, I figured out that the porn industry has started working with "Anonymous." Why? Because the porn industry is losing money...and resorting to childish bullshit like that. Why the hackers? Because they steal money... Immediately after the whole "Kardashian" porn video leaked, there seems to be some kind of bitter jealousy...like because she isn't the only one who's life gets exploited, yet she is all over the media... There is some kind of ignorance lingering about that.  Its like some retired porn failure thinks "that should've been me."  Well, the reason why the Kardashians are successful is because they know people in the media, who have become obsessed...and, because they got into the Fashion Industry with success... and since Kanye West's new album talks about how stupid the Anonymous type of bullshit is [based on the the two SNL songs I heard, which were really cool and original], they are scapegoating the two. I know for a fact that there are some porn stars who are so delusional, that they have become equivalent to zombies... Whats the point of scapegoating insecurities when most people, celebrity or not, have their own insecurities? Everyone goes through rough patches...

Little known fact: Tons of porn stars from the 80s and 90s have AIDS. Why? Because the porn industry doesn't give a fuck about their little industry's workers. Treat them like flies and they end up eating the metaphorical shit. Now, why is the porn industry failing so much? Because of drugs, losers, and greed. Do I watch porn? Not much anymore...in fact not much since like...I met some porn stars and they opened my eyes to fact that they are merely prostitutes under the impression that they are helping society...and behind that veil of non-stigmatized cultish brainwashing, they are really just young women who never got decent education because they were objectified... This is why issues like "women's rights" are so important... No one wants to see women feel like they are worth less than some greedy dude who kicks them out on the street when he loses a fraction of his lifetime's paycheck... a small fraction... and they end up thinking they've lost their whole lives... The "helping society" factor of the porn industry through "education" or "sexual healing" as Marvyn Gaye put it is just as fractional as like...3/2000ths of the entire porn catalog in existance... in the same way 3/2000ths of the population are "acknowledged" as celebrities... who cares?

Where is the help when things are so unclear? Fuckin beastiality exists...seriously... I think that this is getting way out of hand and a bunch of Z-Class loser wannabes with no skills who think life is about "the moments that feel good" instead of about living securely rendering a constant flow of good feelings...and who consider themselves "professionals in the acting field" are making it worse. Check the egos, fools. This is essentially becoming a "cult" and with the whole hacking team-up/privacy invasion turning the whole "subsociety" into more of a rape industry: more of a domestic terrorist cult...

There is a difference between education...which enough porn is around to exhibit and ignorant repetitious belligerent over-marketed, overproduce, unnecessary drama.  Its not hard to see why so many morons are under the impression that "good sex comes from getting someone stressed out and then relieving it through muscle rubbing.." After all, the genitals on a man and those on a woman are merely muscles that release reproductive fluids...and cells.... So, why are these two cults turning them into candy machines?

In other words, this kind of bullshit is affecting the whole "Entertainment" Industry... so, I personally think "Education" needs to be more intertwined with "Entertainment." Hollywood is there. The porn industry needs to do their own thing.

Holographic Thoth... Hollow Graphic Thoughts... and Yum...clean rooms...

Spent most of the day cleaning up from the past couple of weeks recording/mastering frenzy... almost done mastering the Holographic Thoughts demo [#2]...and found some random inspiration to record a few more harmonies on Gasoline, Pointalism, and Volcanoscapes.... using this other cool homemade mic... This one used to be a CB Radio microphone, but I rewired it and put a 1/4" jack on the end so it has this distinct sort of tonal buzz when the trigger isn't clicked and its sooo clear when the trigger is pushed... they came out good...did one for Jellyfishies too...

Cleaning rooms is like...the equivalent to using the bathroom to me... sooo relieving. I made a bunch more different little diffusion mixtures [including Red Chestnut, Echianeca [however ecki-a-neesha is spelled], Frankincense, Myrrh, Pepperment, Pine Needle extract, and White Flower oil]...Smells good...

Found the best way to clean rugs...washing machine soak...hot water...then do an extra slow cycle with some OxyClean powdered Carpet Cleaner and normal detergent...ha. Drier set with Air/no heat...fluffiness in rugs complete...

Noticed another strange synchronicity earlier... Sometimes, I just naturally I guess you could say hallucinate sounds from machines... The washing machine sounded like a rhythmic sentence of "It makes things easier." Transformers/Terminator type of stuff...probably cause I was tired... Anyways, its a rarity, so might as well blog about it...but it makes you wonder... Is the electricity flowing through the machine actually capable of picking up on the human consciousness' thoughts about washing machines? "It makes it easier." Kind of like that old Egyptian/Sumerian/Greek "god" Thoth...Hermes...whatever you wanna call it...the "god" of language and communication... Mercury shoes...

Yum. Changed the bed sheets...gonna enjoy some sleep without disruption hopefully tonight...

Ah, finally finished the demo for Acrostics... taking a little transition break before proceeding with the Vessels one... The others are sounding pretty good in the car...Almost time to take a drive somewhere and listen to all of them with a little notepad in a parking place and jot down the little notes...

So far, things are going way better as in faster than originally planned... might get the Patriot 1 disc done before July...or late July... Basically, a month ahead of where I thought I would be...

so, more than halfway thru the hard part of the first 9 Warlock albums...and there are a lot of tracks on each one...Ultraviolet Landscape ended up needing to be put on 2 discs, for example...and Pneumatology, originally only like...9 songs...is 25 tracks... feels nice to finally be getting these done and I'm not getting tired of listening to them...which is also nice...

The topic is one of the Acrostics songs first little blurbs....

For anyone who uses Audacity, I found a cool trick for mastering which I haven't read about anywhere... There are preset EQs in the "Equalization" option, and if you duplicate the main tracks and play with the volume enough, you get a great sound with "Telephone," for the music panned with one duplicate left and the other right... for Vocals, the 100hrtz Rumble/AM Radio/Walkie-Talkie work nice for a 50% similar kind of pan... keep the volumes lower than the main tracks though...sounds way good. Obviously depending on the content, and vibe, you can switch them up...

For example, if I was mastering some song about a shipwreck, which I was doing for the Vessels demo yesterday, I would do something like this: Record two different main vocal tracks [one usually with harmonies on a handheld condenser mic and the other on a basic condenser for studio recording through a preamp with phantom power].... then duplicate them and mix the volumes up so nothing clips [i.e. -2 for the main ones and like...-15 or something for the duplicates...2 of each duplicate...]...Pan the duplicates 100% and 50% each stereo side and then EQ the handheld condenser to like...Telephone or "Walkie-Talkie"...add some plate reverb....then with the other set, add 100hrtz Rumble or like...AM Radio....and the stereo-ization adds a depth previously not there...

This of course works best only after the basic mastering process: Declipping, no clicking, hiss removing, little high/low pass filterings...compressions... but, if you know what I'm talking about, really good trick...

Pacifying through the Church of Media...

So, was channel surfing to find something the cat would enjoy; she was mighty vocal earlier... Its nice to have a friend who understands...and I did teach her language. Anyways, saw a bunch of interesting things, then went downstairs with my coffee and read the Google Newslines... this is a little bullet-like list of ideas and realizations:

1. Apple is opening a "secret" store. Not secret anymore, huh? Well, they should really make some kind of Giant iPod like F.A.O. Schwartz did with the giant keyboard...would be cool.

2. What has happened to "missionaries?" Saw one on TV bullshitting about some weird random tangent from the Bible and it led me to this realization: They aren't doing anything cool anymore. Instead of isolating sickness in like...Africa, the Philippines, Eastern Europe..uhh..South America, they are just thinking things like "well, we'll send over needles and medical supplies..." I personally think it should be more revolving around safety.... Move the undiseased kids away from the large centers of disease-ridden areas...not necessarily to ghetto anyone, just like...for safety-pay for the transportation to bring everyone to the schools and keep a close on the medical factor. Its like watching a bunch of hypocritical "frauds" manipulate for money...

3. Why aren't more animal rights being promoted instead of gay rights? First of all, animals have benefitted humanity wayyy more than "gay" people...and still, they are split up from their families at birth and sold like slaves... The "gay" thing is way different... its more about lifestyle choice and health... Already know that I do not like "gay" lifestyles... but, animals? Seriously, just imagine if after a litter of offspring, they were "fixed," and then the family and humans interacted until the babies were grown... its kind of like milk. Cows are nurtured and almost relieved sometimes by milking and tons of people enjoy the after-product. However, animals are like...almost invisible... The "animal rights" peace officers don't even specialize in going after the disease spreaders and violent ones as much as "whats on the call list..." I think it should be reorganized. And, I think that plenty of adoptions in situations where there is no more mother around would balance out the idea.

4. Why is the media so violent? I always read these kind of headlines: "Turkey wants to RECAPTURE....its square"...when its more realistically like "Police in Turkey keep attempting to PACIFY the square where a bunch of violence is going down." It is illogical and misleading...and the cause of more violence.

5. Why is the media so paranoid and manipulative? You notice all the talk about Hilary Clinton? Know why? Because the last presidential election made the media a bunch of money...but, they don't realize that it wasn't really planned out to be such a spectacle until they realized how important it was. Its not about partisanship, not about candidates, but the core arguments and values.  Yet, now the media wants to treat it like a ideal profit margin so they're wondering who to lobby for which possible candidates... Creepy. Its like telling a wolf you'll feed it and then trying to say "Ok, next time I'll feed you if you bring me back a shrubbery."

6. Why is Elmo still on Sesame Street? The fool completely ruined it for me... I think they should make violence awareness a priority and have a disgruntled Oscar the Grouch take out Elmo so he can be replaced... Maybe some cat wandering by can take over for the Elmo segment or a snake or I dont know...something more realistic and less annoying...a barking dog...

7. Why aren't there any welding shows? There are woodworking ones....clear problems with welds in too many big city scaled projects...and no shows about correct ways to weld...

8. Why aren't there any Dry Cleaning reality shows? I think those would be hilarious.... especially if it was like a various different locational kind...like C.O.P.S. was...made it way successful... just like Dirty Jobs...a bunch of others...instead its "I found the wedding gown."

9. I think that not only should the NSA surveillance people with phones, but why not let the media help...why not send sort of confidential surveys to the populations who watch it all and the results can be tallied, like an election, to see how people think, what they think about, and scientifically connect everything? Example? Say there's some show about some celebrity marriage...I think the polls/survey should be something like this:
--Did you enjoy seeing (the woman)? Why?
--Did you support the couple?
--Do you think (whoever) was too flirtatious?
--What were you really watching the show for?

10. My blogs are weird as fuck....


Anyways, decided to do a drum track for "Driveway," off Vessels...came out nice...got me thinking how beneficial the digital ease of professionality in sound is getting to musicians... Not only do the drums sound perfectly captured, but the variety of sounds available make it like a $15,000 drum set... And, I'm not saying live drums are better or worse, but to those of us who are skilled in rhythm and not as financially well off, this digital availability of resources is amazing... But, you better watch out cause the NSA might think the Bass Drum is too loud right? Bad joke.

Onto Vessels...and respirator...

Ah... ran thru the Ultraviolet Landscape demo yesterday... gonna re-EQ the whole thing in one setting and burn another copy in the other EQ...one sounds really good on the little microspeakers and I'm guessing there will be a middle ground after the car runthrus....

So, onto the next two and little clock fixeruppers... Did another version of "Vulture/14" on c l o c k and in comparing the original demo with this one, realized they need to be combined more or less... Vessels is coming nicely...little to no changes in the drums dept. and minimal guitar changes are necessary... Kinda wondering whether or not to put the respirator stuff on vessels...probably won't....

Starting to use that Divine Tuning again... it fits really well with the kind of sounds I make...and it gives off sort of a completion vibe...like the whole spectra of feelings and sounds is included in the one tuning...

Thinking about another electric guitar in the future to use specifically for this tuning...I currently use this old 70's/80's random guitar which I changed the tuners on....and while it sounds really cool in person, the guitar just punches the fuck out of recording... Its because the pickguard is metal and the sustain on the thick fretboard just makes these tonally encompassing surrounding tones...the microphone gets overwhelmed.

Had a great breakfast...probably the best I've had in a long time... a Hashbrown Casserole... yum.

Did the release the sounds ritual last night with UV [this is a little ritual I made up to see how in tune the songs are going to be..and so far, it really works well....everything gets synchronized...] with some diffusion oils... Its basically like this...

I smoke/steam up my room with all these combinations of like... wine [as in me drinking wine], Frankincense, minty, natural oils that have been around and are used everywhere....drink a lot of water, then I listen to the finished creation of mine and just shut down the thinking portion of my brain and take in the sounds/sights/whatever...then I open the sliding door when the moon is completely out, take a shower, come back to an aired out room, and the next day, things are just as flowing as the creation was or was not... It only works if you switch up the whole ritual under the same parameters and there is no sort of poisonous/toxic stuff around...Thank god I don't make gangsta rap.

"Cyber-lawmaking"

Well, since I've been the victim of countless minutes, hours, and even deadlines [Algebra 2...] because of cyber-criminals/hackers, I am glad to read about the governments possibly writing some new international laws not necessarily controlling internet behavior, but more fencing off internet stupidity...

And, it leads me to remember the whole .mp3 baby booming of this whole issue...

If you remember, hackers were around before; but, before the music industry [even before the film industry] started taking incredible losses and making people aware of the economical dangers of "piracy" or "sharing" without the proper compensation, hackers were kinda just...there...like a bunch of couch potatoes, hijacked on some strange stream of conscious stupidity...

Then things got more serious, movies, tons of paparazi-style "shared materials," and the craziness ensued.

People have committed suicide because of this bullshit, seriously...

I think the only way to commit suicide is to keep it in the insane asylum...so, I guess I enjoy my personal life more than those people, but, no one should really get that pressure...in America, we love private property and our own personal space...and its even harder, with run-on sentences around and everyone having to move back in with their mother or being prevented from moving out responsibly...

So, I think there should be something about International Copyrights (including digital) being violated... something along the lines of if some copy-"written" material is put up and found, it can be forcefully removed and any second attempts will result in more severe punishments...there is a basic blueprint that exists on YouTube with this...At first, I misunderstood it and thought it meant if you didn't change or modify the material, then it was not allowed...so I remastered a song...but it got taken down immediately, even to the stereo was way cooler...

Why? Because, the chain-link of the last what...15 years has had such a negative impact on the economical world, let alone the world of safety in human beings always so afraid of everything, that it only makes logical sense...and cents and dollars as well. If the laws are solid, there is less room for misunderstanding.

At first, the industry will go down a bit; then, it'll come back up slowly [don't forget the morons like Anonymouths and the Occupy Portapotties...mistaking liberties for rights]...so the artists and the "people in black suits" will have to budget their money in these next few years... If there is no action taken, then here's what happens: pretty soon, the contract that money is as a means of value for means of living will become something similar to a Goodwill Store [I've shopped there before...its not a fuckin' racist thing for any paranoid ethno-centrist overcritical dumb bitches reading]... because, there will be less sources of income, and more excesses in the need for income...not to mention the desire for new things...

...so, people will end up having to either get things at cheaper prices, leading to more economical turmoil. Of course, the gas prices will probably rise leaving a bunch of people jobless again, car companies caving in, and no form of entertainment.

However, the more severe cyber-crimes are a bigger priority; We're talkin extortion, black mail, basic child molestation, stalking, invasion of private property, character defamation via hacking, taking away the amendments granted in the constitution, chaotic losses of time...and for only some weird, selfish reasons [people hacking because there is a loophole in software meant to make life easier that has become like riding a bus looking around to make sure no one is gonna shank ya..].

So its just like everything else in human life these days... Safety first, Security follows, and money gets earned... In other words, keep things safe and it grows into security, rendering the chance to make money since there is no instability dragging anyone down...

It is truly ridiculous how many "trolls" and morons just make other people's lives so much more difficult; people need to stop being so fucking judgmental with their childish opinions like "you sux0rs," "haha dick!" or "yeah, fuck yourself" in responses to like...everything. Where are the opinionated adults? I'm a little mentally exhausted from the whole UV Demo mastering and little add-ons; so, if this blog doesn't make sense, its because I'm still thinking in sound land...maybe I've been typing and "tapping into" rhythms...bad jokes.

Also, the NSA issue shows why the fuckin' news companies are way out of hand... way to misinform, dipshits... Furthermore, even if the government was listening to a personal conversation of mind, what is there the need to attach fear for?  Its not like I'm talking to some fuckin' stranger I plan to meet in Siberia to deal endangered animals...

Ultraviolet Landscape; blogs with sound...

Wouldn't it be nice if bloggers could upload original sounds/songs...like up to 10mb... I think so... anyways...

Yesterday did some acoustic guitar tracks for Vessels...and no its not about Blood Vessels...its about transportation more or less...

Anyways, been mastering the UV demo in between....very pleased with it so far... 13 songs out of the 22 tracks are done... gonna see if I can get some cool panning/stereoizations out of them with SoundForge after they're all done...

Found out some really cool stuff about that burning program, Nero... It has this option where you can tweak the EQ and maximize the stereoization of the files before burning them...what a feature...

In other random news, I just ate a turkey tomato burger...and saw thru the window what appeared to be some kind of dead duck being carried away by a dude with gloves... maybe it went swimming and drank some of the chlorine... It looked pretty motionless though... weird.

Listened to some tracks from the other Warlock stuff earlier before one of the neigbors, probaby in Apartment E or D, starting trying to compliment me through the walls after I've told them tons and tons of times to just leave me alone... I really find it distracting since its not like I am performing the songs when they compliment them, nor am I showing the songs to the neighbors... Intrusive people need to seriously just fuck off...

However, at least things are going well in my life...

The difference between the FBI & the government...

Well, was reading another funny bunch of news stories again... Apparently L.A. is losing some of its pollute-ical steam...and so are politicians who dwell in corruptions... cause the FBI raided a Sacramento one's office...

Now, often people think of the "Feds" as the government. Way off. There are two kinds of ways to see this:

1. Federal, adj., means dealing with a singular sovereign country...National is almost a synonym [means the same thing]

2. While hands on two different arms can be used together to lift up something heavy, often, when slapping, only one is used...

You see, I love the FBI and have since I was little...just because its all about the things I like...keeping things sort of cleaner... I don't look up to like Hollywood-ized FBI Agents, or individuals per say, but I like the whole notion that certain parts of the society around me are rough...and need smoothing out...

So, in essence, its almost painful to read people confusing the government funded appointed peacekeepers of the Federalist-ic Democratic Republic that we are a part of...as silly as it sounds.  So, the Federal government should not be mistaken for the Federal Bureau of Investigation...simply because the Bureau keeps as much of the citizens that make governments corrupt out of the way as they do the ones who happened to get into office. Not to accuse the Senator of being corrupt, but obviously there was something in his office...

Its like the difference between a wine glass and the wine inside of it... The wine glass holds wine, but the wine is often from a very different place...gone through a completely different fermentation process...and unless its flash heated sherry or something, quite different from the glass... The whole point of the FBI is to keep the glass from being burned by an eventual half-life after half-life...vinegar to acid...kind of thing...

Ultraviolet Landscape, "TinyBuddah" on Twitter, and Bank Robbers...

So, today I finished tracking the guitars for the UV Landscape demo...and might I say it took long enough...
I finally got the general concepts down in a pretty tangible form and the songs are "grown up" so to speak... The essential idea for the first three Warlocks-Spectrum of Orbit, Holographic Thoughts, and Ultraviolet Landscape is something like...well yeah, we're all driving or moving around....then something hollow, graphic,  and newsworthy sort of stops us and makes us start thinking like grown ups... and at first, everything is so...burned.  UV is like...some of the older songs in my catalog, so, the concept is for the album to sound almost perfectly imperfect; with the simple songs being way cooler live... I recently levelled off the guitar tracks for Pandora's Box, which is just like "why do people talk so much unecessarily....are they tied up to some sort of permanence that only allows them to speak all the time....and when that is the case, its like their mouths become pandora's box...," and its really nice having the bass/drum track switch off from stereo sides... Hoping to start recording the vocals tomorrow...we'll see...as in myself and the world...what happens...

TinyBuddah. One of the better twitter accounts out there... TinyBuddah posted something about "It is better to take a loss than an impure gain..." which made me think: Losses are kind of gravitational physics in the invisible realm of sound, thought, godwork in general.... They are almost like a ball bouncing...eventually things go up...then down...then up... like words bounce off of walls...

Bank Robbers. Always disheartening to read about these situations. Really makes me wish the Oakland Police Department had given me an opportunity to excel in law enforcement; however, that was before a few very fast leadership change-ups, so I think it might have been because I was too honest. Anyways, the FBI, which I am an avid subscriber to, posted some pictures of three bank robbers. Now, the first thing I notice is the matching baby blue items on both of the first two pictures; right away a sign of pride. The next thing is basketball shoes... And, that leads to either Miami Dolphins fans, Georgetown NCAA fans, or street gang affiliations... The next thing I noticed were the placement of the shoes; suspects 1 and 2 are clearly more distinguishable as the two who had little involvement in the planning stage...why? Because, one of the jumped over the counter, leaving a clean shoe print; the other was more like the fearless follower, and the probable mastermind - suspect 3, was very careful not to step anywhere where any clear footprints could be traced. However, they all slipped up if they were thinking they can get away with it for those reasons alone.

I should've been a detective; anyways, the first two are clearly closer in relationship than the third; they are both trendy, clearly more focus'd on looks and pride as opposed to intelligent decisions...whereas the third suspect seems like he cares less about his appearance, and more about getting away with something; so, this all adds up to people who are known members of their community; probably the 3rd suspect has prior arrests for theft; the other two seem to be avid fans/participants of sports and most likely will be recognized sooner than they think.

But, why do Bank Robberies even happen? First of all, its like pandora's box... someone sees any t.v. show or commercial, which costs sooo much money these days, and is automatically under the impression that the stigma to get used to in society is not what you have to offer for who you are, but for what you could get.  What does that mean? Simple... its like the whole notion of "the devil" in the Bible. Simple analysis leads one to realize D E V I L is merely an alphabetical cipher... A B C...D E [f] [ghI] [jkL]...was the alphabet back then.... so, nowadays people see it as an EVIL form of some existance....however, its not even that significant... In the same sense, what is the amount of money significant in life for? It becomes more significant with the priorities and amounts of balance either swaying, gaining, or losing in life. So, if there is say, some sort of expensive car payment and a recent job loss, the money becomes a bigger "need," to function whereas if people are more wise, and don't let the "devil" kind of complexities overrun their lives, money is a simple hammer... I don't know about other people, but I love tools that are forever useful... and all I know, much like what TinyBuddah wrote, is that I'd rather have my own, self-bought and picked out hammer than some community hammer that keeps everything nicely in place...without regard to all the turbulence in the world around...

Why burn the worldview, when there are so many hazards already...

Makes you kind of wish there was some sort of way for people who do rob banks and stuff to just realize they made a hasty and severe mistake...and that they can give it back without any overly harsh punishments, but, you know, if you point a gun at anyone for no reason....how can you give that moment back?
